SCHOLARSHIP DESCRIPTION

Janet André Bootsma established a $7,500 annual scholarship for a Tippecanoe County, Indiana student who exhibits academic merit and leadership capabilities, and is an active member of a church with a Reformed theological perspective. The scholarship may be used for tuition, fees, books, and supplies at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois; or Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa. Completed applications must be received by April 30, 2024 with the scholarship being awarded on or befor May 15, 2024. To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must:

The scholarship is renewable for up to four years if the student continues to meet the selection criteria and makes satisfactory progress toward degree completion. To be considered for renewal the student must re-apply annually.


USE OF SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS

This scholarship may be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.  The scholarship amount will be paid directly to the recipient’s selected educational institution.  This scholarship is intended for a full-time student, and if the recipient withdraws from a course or courses during any semester resulting in less-than-full-time-enrollment, the scholarship amount will be prorated as determined by the selection committee.


SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

The application, required documents and letters of recommendation must be submitted online here between January 1, 2024 and April 30, 2024.  The winner will be notified by May 15, 2024.


RECOMMENDATIONS

Recommendations in favor of an applicant must be submitted online here between January 1, 2024 and April 30, 2024.
